AEW World Champion MJF has shared his first comments following his title defense against Kenny Omega at Dynasty.
The April 12 pay-per-view was headlined by an AEW World Championship match, with MJF ultimately victorious over Kenny Omega after almost 40 minutes of action.
The victory came via pinfall, with MJF hitting the Heat Seeker in the ring, after putting him through a table at ringside with a Tombstone Piledriver.
In an AEW exclusive video clip, Renee Paquette attempted to interview MJF, but was quickly cut off.
Ready to celebrate, MJF said:
“I am going dark on socials, on my phone, nobody call me.
“I’m going to go home to my wife and make sweet love to her, because your boy just proved that there ain’t nobody on the level of The Devil.”

With MJF leaving before Paquette could get a word in, she remarked that she guesses the champion will have to find out “the hard way.”
MJF’s next AEW World Title defense was announced during the post-show media scrum, with Tony Khan confirming that Darby Allin will challenge for the gold on the April 15 Dynamite: Spring BreakThru show.
Allin became the #1 contender to the world title at Dynasty, defeating Andrade El Idolo to earn a shot at MJF’s gold.
This will be Allin’s first time challenging for the AEW World Championship since Double or Nothing 2023, when MJF successfully defended the gold in a four-way against Allin, Sammy Guevara and Jack Perry.
With Darby Allin recently naming Sting’s retirement run and his Mount Everest climbs as reasons for him stepping out of the world title picture in recent years, the former TNT Champion now has no distractions as he attempts to win AEW’s top prize.
With Allin established as a mainstay for AEW upon its formation, it would be a full-circle moment to see him become the second of the company’s “Four Pillars” to hold the AEW World Championship.
